Chapter 7

The extra-dimensional persona

All eventualities of the self exist

In quantum physics, there are a couple of theories which include the concept of "super-position". First there is the "Copenhagen interpretation" originated by Niels Bohr and Werner Heisenberg, which postulates the collapse of a wave-function of an object in a super-position, so that it is only physical reality when observed. This infers that each perspective point of observation results in a unique physical perspective of the object in super-position. Second, there is the "Many Worlds Interpretation" originated by Hugh Everett, which postulates that no collapse of wave-form function is necessary because all possible variations do in fact, already physically exist in infinite parallel realities. This second interpretation is the origin of the popular concept of "parallel worlds". However, the precise meaning of parallel realities is parallel "moments" of reality. A continuum of these moments (which you use to define your concept of time) might be a closer definition of what is popularly perceived as parallel lives in parallel worlds. The salient point here is that all eventualities exist for all things, including you. Somewhere in your infinite state of super-position are the most powerful and confident versions of you and somewhere are also the most horrific, the weakest and the most fearful. All possible variations of you emanate from this super-position across infinite dimensions of reality.

The perfect self

The selves that emanate from your super-position do have structure. The variations of you are not randomly dispersed through-out the infinite dimensions in which you exist. The core of your self in super-position is naturally the strongest and brightest. It is from here that you shine your "selves" across the dimensions, so it is made of the most powerful, concentrated versions of you. And like a star shining in the vastness of space that shines over incredibly vast distances, thousands of galaxies away, the light of your Being radiates across infinite dimensions. Your most distant selves are all directly radiated from your core being and therefore connected to it and each other. The complete reality of your self is that you are in every reality, in every variation of your self simultaneously as you radiate from your core. Space and time are concepts resulting from the inability to "see" the structure of reality with physical eyes. You are able to be in all "locations" simultaneously because they are all the same place to your extra-dimensional self. And the moments don't "tick away", because you are already in each of them, all at once. It is the dimensional perspective that defines the moments that make up this continuum that you call your life. Ultimately, there is only one "here and now" in which all that can be is, and it is across infinite dimensions. Soon, I believe the quantum physicists that require mathematical perspectives will understand that extra-dimensional reality explains the mystery that they refer to as "quantum entanglement" which causes one thing to immediately affect another with no passage of time, regardless of the distance. It also explains a great number of other things that I will not go into in this work.

Why is all of this relevant? It is relevant because the flow of energy that you channel into your guitar comes from these other "selves". I have already stated that I am relatively ignorant of music theory. I never had much interest in it. However, when I am playing, unlearned knowledge and skills are suddenly available to me. They are not in the terms of music theory, but their complexity is nothing less than, what I would call a "virtuoso", would play. But, to be clear, I have no desire to be the "best", or the "fastest", or any other label that I feel would constrict me from my only goal, which is to express myself. Competition is a commercial concept in music. I only mention it here so that you know what to expect. Stay true to yourself if you really want to shine. Ignore the concept of competition. That is not expressing one's self with their music. It is simply showing off skills playing highly-practiced, empty patterns. And someone else will always come along and take their "title" from them. You are competing with no-one. Not even yourself. Competition is a business. For example, look at all of the money spent on sports. But you know that NO ONE can take YOU from you. And when you finally find that persona that feels like the perfect blend of your selves (a certain amount of this quality, a certain amount of that quality), remember what you are, and that you redefine your Self literally, from moment to moment.

The "perfect" self is a relative thing. It is not only your inner core that shines. The strength of your inner core shines from every eventuality of your existence. You are uniquely you in each of them. The full glory and power of your being, can shine in them all. You need only expand your sense of reach across the dimensions and join the moments across the continuum of your own artistic choosing. If you intend to perform your music, whether for others or not, there are some basics that should be considered when selecting the selves that you will use to form your self-expression. You should consider stance. How are you coming at the crowd? Which continuum of your selves will engage them more strongly? Poise - you should consider whether or not you come across with grace. You should carry yourself, and move with the energy of the song that you are performing. Vocals. Are they loud and clear, fully expressing the emotions being expressed in the song? Guitar work. Is it carrying you through the emotional experiences that culminated in the creation of the song?
