When you play guitar from a multi-dimensional perspective, you are gathering the energy of the moments that define the song, and as you weave them into the flow of energy that you spread across the guitar, you do so with your own physiological energy from your current self in this here and now, and in doing so, you are performing the accentuations that provide the personal style that makes each performance unique from all others.
As you draw upon selves of yours that are not previously of this continuum that you call life, and use them to express yourself in extra-dimensional ways, you will soon learn that you have infinite "styles". You will find that you can shape the energy from different perspectives and utilize it in completely different ways, yet still be fully expressing your "Self". The style of some of these selves are more entertaining than others, so just a bit of advice: stay out of the shallow end of the pool. It may be safe, but you will never know glory without the courage to conquer the deep end. In the deep end, you live those moments of self. They are part of what you are. You Are those styles. So be selective about the styles that you use to define your Self to the world.
You will find that you will never run out of desirable combinations of your styles. So consider the driving persona that presents the combination of selves that you are expressing as your self. But know always, that you are never one persona, never just one aspect of all that you are. You are infinitely-faceted. Yet what belies all of those facets is an extra-dimensional persona that radiates and exists in multiple continuums of Self simultaneously.
I have strived to articulate as clearly as I can, the mechanics of generating and moving energy, into your self and out through your guitar and vocals in a way that expresses the Self. But as I stated early on, the mechanics of the process are not the process itself. The mechanics described here are from my own personal experiences in my endeavors to express my Self and to expand my sense of "BEing" in each and every remaining moment of my life. Your own process will differ. But my intent is to serve as an example of what you can do and how you can do it.
What actually causes the changes that define the expanded you, is YOU. Your Self. What you use to construct your music is a moment or a series of moments from the continuum of moments that you call your life. But, as mentioned earlier, you are not this single, aspect of self. In reality, you are in every possible eventuality of your self. But when you focus your sense of self on a single continuum (such as the one that you know as your "life"), the sheer focus of your energy holds you to the reality of your physical form. You ignore all of the offshoots into all other possible realities that occur in each and every moment.
You must comprehend the structure of self, as I have described here, in order to begin to "feel" it, and eventually, "see" it. What defines your continuum of self is determined by the "selves" that you choose to be from moment to moment. When you compose your music, choose moments that begin in this continuum, then you may choose to follow a branch into a nearby parallel you, where you chose a different moment in the succession of moments that define your continuum. If you are thinking that this means that since every variation of you exists, you can write about anything and it will be extra-dimensional, then you are wrong. You must follow a DIRECT branch from this continuum into NEARBY alternate continuums. In that (or those) other continuum(s), that IS your reality. I AM The Dark Star, both in nearby alternate continuums, and in this one. Strong emotions are required to draw, and give form to, the energy that you utilize as you connect to your nearby alternates. You must exert enough energy to maintain your sense of Being in both continuums at the same time, and to maintain it. That means that you must always be drawing energy in, from moment to moment, to be both selves simultaneously and always. After you have done this once, it gets much easier. However, this is not something that you do to prepare for a performance. This is something that you LIVE always. You carry these selves in you always, and all other selves from nearby continuums that you connect with. Your power and ability will build with each new connection that you make.
It may have occurred to you by now, that since the construct of your music is based on the moments that comprise your continuum of life, then the moments that are available to you are based on your own choices, your own sense of BEing. That is exactly true. Unfortunately, the requisite energy necessary to begin comes from intense emotional states. And that usually involves very undesirable realities. It would be nice to believe that my antithesis exists, drawing energy and channeling it from an opposite persona. But that is not the nature of reality. My own extra-dimensional awakening was the result of my need to express the pain, rage, and hopelessness that was consuming me. Without that energy and drive to begin with, it would have taken much longer. But at this point, I am far beyond that persona and far more adept at drawing, channeling, and giving form to extra-dimensional energy from nearby alternate selves.
In closing, I would like to point out that channeling energy into your Self and out through your guitar and vocals, is actually only an example of what can be done with the energy. Many will learn the other section of this site ("BEING") and use the energy to develop other abilities that were not previously possible for them.
